Mechanical Systems Technician
Location: Ashland, VA (servicing projects statewide)
About The Hydraulics Group LLC
The Hydraulics Group delivers expert hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and mechanical system services to industrial clients across Virginia. As we expand, we’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Technician who thrives in hands-on environments and values teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and OEM manuals
- Perform preventive maintenance and component overhauls
- Document work orders and service reports using our CRM and established templates
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders, and working in varied field conditions

The Hydraulics Group LLC is expanding and looking for a results-driven Industrial Sales Manager to serve customers across Virginia.
If you have experience in outside sales, a strong work ethic, and a passion for solving problems in industrial environments — this opportunity is for you.
We provide hydraulic, lubrication, and pneumatic systems and services to companies across Virginia. We are known for being easy to work with and delivering quality services. We are a top-tier service provider and we are looking for individuals who value serving customers.
What We Offer:
- Base salary plus commission (uncapped)

Successful candidate will have:
· 3+ years of industrial outside sales management experience

- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, or lubrication is helpful (not required)
